Marta & Adam landed in warm Madeira where everything was already arranged for them. After checking in, they spent the afternoon exploring Funchal’s Old Town at their own pace, wandering through colorful streets, grabbing a simple dinner, and easing into island life.

Their morning began in the heart of Funchal, walking through Rua de Santa Maria and visiting Mercado dos Lavradores for fruit tasting and local crafts. Later, they joined a Tuk Tuk food and market tour, discovering hidden corners, viewpoints, and traditional Madeiran bites. The afternoon was slow and peaceful, with coffee in Santa Catarina Park and time to relax before heading back for a calm evening.

Today was all about nature and gentle exploring. Marta & Adam rode the cable car high above Funchal and spent their day between the Botanical Garden and Monte Palace Tropical Garden. They enjoyed peaceful paths, koi ponds, and tropical plants while stopping for coffee inside the garden. With no rush, they made their way back down, ending the day with a cozy dinner in town.

The day started in the fishing village of Câmara de Lobos, a colorful harbor town filled with boats, cafés, and warm local charm. They wandered the waterfront and tasted the island’s famous poncha. In the afternoon, they visited Cabo Girão Skywalk, one of Europe’s highest sea cliffs, where they stepped onto the glass platform and admired dramatic ocean views together before returning for a relaxed seaside dinner.

Before sunrise, Marta & Adam drove up to Pico do Arieiro for one of the most magical moments of their trip. They watched the sun rise over the mountain peaks, wrapped in quiet and soft golden light. After this breathtaking start, they spent the rest of the day in Ribeira Brava, a peaceful coastal town where they strolled the promenade, enjoyed coffee and wine, and rested after the early morning adventure.

Day 6 began with a short visit to Ribeira Brava before continuing to beautiful Ponta do Sol, one of Madeira’s sunniest spots. They explored its small streets and enjoyed pastel de nata by the ocean. In the afternoon, they headed to Calheta Beach, a rare golden-sand beach perfect for a warm swim and lazy seaside afternoon together. The day ended with a calm dinner back in Funchal.

Today was their big adventure. Marta & Adam joined a full-day 4x4 Jeep tour exploring Madeira’s most stunning landscapes. They visited Cabo Girão again, explored rugged mountain valleys, discovered the wild north coast, and stopped at Porto Moniz to swim in natural volcanic pools. The day continued through Fanal Forest’s mystical trees before ending with sunset views on the island’s west side.

Their final day was dedicated to calm coastal beauty. They returned to the volcanic pools of Porto Moniz for a morning swim, followed by a visit to Seixal Beach, famous for its black sand and dramatic green cliffs. It was the perfect slow ending to their honeymoon, giving them time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the island one last time before their trip home.
